I’m a mixed-media artist, animator and writer based in Margate. I graduated with an MA in Sequential Art & Design from Brighton University in 2001.

Education Work

• The Digital Story – workshops and animation
• Two animation drop-in workshops for Merton Libraries
• Led an animation workshop for the Big Draw at Merton Art Space
• Led animation workshops with young people in Mitcham
• Led a Poetry illustration family day at Keats House
• Led illustration workshops with young people at National Archives
• Supported artist-in-residence, Sherif El Azma at Camden Arts Centre, working with young people to produce individual films
• Coordinated and led workshops with artist Maria Kheirkah in Pentonville Prison on behalf of Whitechapel Gallery
• Ran numerous schools and community workshops and projects for Whitechapel Gallery
• Produced Family Trails for Whitechapel Gallery
• Led design workshops with children and young people from the Camden Centre for Filipinos to produce two Young Person’s Guides to London
• Led workshops at the Filipino Community Centre Hammersmith with young people. We created a toolkit for schools on Filipino culture, which was used as an example of good practice by Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
• Design and layout for brochure demonstrating level of work achieved by the Centre for Filipinos to the Heritage Lottery Fund
• Led regular evening workshops with young people of the Sulgrave Youth Centre, W12 in painting, design, animation, video and crafts.
• Led young volunteers from the Prince’s Trust in a 2-day challenge, painting 3 murals
• Led and planned workshops for 5 reception classes at Fulham Preparatory School
• Designed mural at St. Thomas of Canterbury RC Primary School, SW6, painted with 20 young adult volunteers.
• Design and painting of 2 murals at Miles Coverdale school W12 with 30 adult and young adult volunteers
• Design and painting of Mural with year six at St. Augustine’s School, W6
• Open workshops in the Kensington Gardens and Greenwich Park, art with found objects.
• Led workshops, consulted with residents on design and execution of a Mural on the Edward Woods Estate in Shepherd’s Bush. Millennium Volunteers and Play Services
• Led workshops with volunteers and children, designing and painting a Mural at Distillery Road Playcentre with local authority and Millennium Volunteers
• Led workshops for, designed in collaboration with residents, Mural at a Women’s Shelter
